Precor P40 App
Precor has a series of different types of products and applications. The P80 was the flagship product, aimed at a series of markets and clients. However the organization had other products in the line, which had specific demands and associated narratives. Among these other products, one of the highlights was the P40. A product that was envisioned for the same clients/personas, however with a different price point, and wrapped in a different narrative. The application itself, had an immediately noticeable different real estate, more hardware connections, therefore a user experience which was substantially different. This project aims to illustrate the discovery process underlying how the concepts were shaped, using all the research, testing and discovery that had already been done, which had to continue to further refine the concepts for this specific product. Once again there was collaboration with the Industrial Design team, Inventory Management, Client Support, among other teams to inform not only the experience itself, but also to account for the different journeys on the product. I was responsible for shepherding the Research outcomes, establishing the Visual Design language, devising prototypes and collecting testing engagements feedback.
